Economics & Computer Science
I am an aspiring applied microeconomist whose primary interests consist of the use of alternative data (e.g., remote sensing, text, images) and applications of deep learning and machine learning methods in Economics. I am interested in deriving novel economic insights from the use of multi-modal data as well as complementing the more conventional, traditional methods used in the field. I completed the MS in Economics and Computational Science (MSEC) program at Duke University in 2024.
Prior to these, I worked as a Senior Research Associate at BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University. I started my career at Innovations for Poverty Action, Bangladesh (IPA-B) as an Associate Research Analyst in 2019.
